A college student has been arrested after she allegedly attempted to hire someone to kill her ex-boyfriend.
Avalone Fishback, 20, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, was charged with first-degree solicitation of murder on Wednesday, reported
According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Payne County District Court, Fishback contacted at least four different people asking if they would kill her former lover living in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Lee's Summit police say they learned of the incident after a man contacted them and told them Fishback had allegedly contacted him asking him to commit the murder.
He told officers he met the college student on the dating app Plenty of Fish.
From there, police contacted the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the FBI, with all agencies conducting a joint investigation.
According to KFOR, the man said he was contacted in late August and an FBI agent took over the account in early September.
