The PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is in a closed-door meeting with former President, Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta.
He arrived the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Complex, Abeokuta at 1.09pm.
On Atiku’s entourage are the PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, his campaign director, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Senator Murray Bruce, and a former Cross River State governor, Liyel Imoke among others.
The meeting is beleieved to be related to Atiku’s presidential ambition in 2019.
Leaders from the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere had earlier visited Obasanjo on Tuesday allegedly to prepare a soft-landing for Atiku in Abeokuta, considering the frosty relationship between him and his host.
